Lots of changes in the railway sector have led to a completely different competitive situation than was the case just a few years ago. Railway-related businesses are all working hard to adapt to the new sector.
So far, Mantena has met this increased competition by winning several major contracts. Among other things, the company has been chosen as maintenance partner for Go-Ahead in Rail Passenger Service Tender 1: South, for SJ in Rail Passenger Service Tender 2: North and for the trains that run in southern Sweden and the Øresund area.
The company also won several re-profiling contracts. The workshop at Grorud is currently building what will be one of Europe’s largest paint halls, with delivery scheduled to be ready in the third quarter.
Looking for a salesperson
We are now looking for a salesperson who, among other things, will be given the task of filling the new hall with activity. Mantena’s commercial director, Silje Nilsen, is not looking for just anyone for the newly created position.
– There is a lot of heavy experience in railway out there. For this position, we hope to find a person who not only has experience from industry or railway, but who is also business smart. It is this business knowledge that is important for us to continue to be a preferred supplier for our customers and to continue to win new contracts in the future.
