After a long period of preparation and planning, the new Mantena workshop for Øresund trains was finally opened on 13th. December.
The workshop, located in Hässleholm, Scania, is the most modern train workshop in Sweden. Everything is in place for optimal maintenance and cleaning of trains, with 26,000 square meters spread over a total of five buildings that contain a workshop, office, cleaning system, subfloor lathe, combi hall and reception station with a cleaning platform.
Combined with state-of-the-art technology and equipment, the workshop’s central location in the Øresund train traffic system will ensure the smooth running of traffic.
