From 1 / 1-20 Mantena is owned by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and fishery in Norway.
“The Government has decided to transfer ownership management of the state-owned train maintenance company Mantena from the Ministry of Transport to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (NFD), with effect from 1 January 2020. The transfer is in line with the guidelines in the Government’s new ownership report.
– Through state ownership of Mantena, the state ensures that it finds a supplier of maintenance and workshop services for railroad materials in the Norwegian market, says Transport Minister Jon Georg Dale.
In the ownership report that the government presented earlier this autumn, it states that the state’s ownership of commercial companies should be managed by the central ownership unit of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Following this, we are now moving the company.”
